Airbag module repair after a crash

We read the crash codes from the airbag module's EEPROM and erase them after inspecting the module. The pyrotechnic parts (airbags, pretensioners) have to be replaced separately.

Situations

How it works

Photo check

Send us 1 to 3 clear photos of the label (reference, VIN if visible). We confirm on photo whether we can proceed.

For the photo to be usable:

  • Shoot close-up: the reference and codes must be readable.
  • Avoid reflections (no flash).
  • Photograph the label on the housing, not a nearby part.

During our opening hours (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm, Sat 9am–1pm).

Your photos and contact details are used only to answer your request. They are not sold or published. Privacy

FAQ

What should you send us?

The reference printed on the module label, the vehicle VIN, photos of the module, the list of deployed airbags and the fault code if you have one.

When should the module be replaced rather than erased?

If the housing or the board is physically damaged, the module has to be replaced. Some manufacturers also require replacement: Fiat after full system deployment, Audi after certain deployments.
